Sarah Ebanja
Sarah has recently retired from her posst as LDA Deputy Chief Executive and Group Director Jobs, Skills and Youth.
Altogether Sarah has over 20 years experience operating at senior levels in London’s public sector.
Past positions include Deputy Chief Executive of Islington Council (2001 to 2002); Director of Local Government and European Programmes at the Government Office for London (2000 to 2001); interim Managing Director and Deputy Chief Executive of Hackney Council (1996 to 2000): Assistant Director of Education at Lewisham Council (1992 to 1996).
Sarah\'s interest in place making and communities is reflected in her voluntary interests which have included being: a member of English Heritage\'s and CABE\'s Urban Advisory Panel; an advisor to Common Purpose and to Chicks with Bricks; a non executive director of the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust; RIBA Trust: member of the Princes Trust Regional Council and, of course, a trustee of Safer London Foundation.
