Devonport Column Community Newsheet reports Common Purpose corruption (20/08/2009)
Plymouth
Page 2 from April 2006 edition of the Devonport Column reporting on Common Purpose corruption in Plymouth. Common Purpose graduates took control of key regeneration projects in the city and particularly the New Deal for Communities programme in Devonport a deprived area with very high unemployment close to the Royal Navy Dockyard. In 10 years some £25 million had been spent on nebulous projects, money into people's pockets and a large proportion of the original residents were forced out, to be replaced with expensive elitest waterside housing. They were promised new homes at affordable prices but this was a lie. Many dubbed it ethnic cleansing. A similar technique is now being used to compulsorily purchase people's homes in North Prospect Plymouth to allow massive redevelopment and fat cat profits. The Devonport Column newsheet was set up to tell the truth about fraud and corruption in Plymouth. See BBC and Media Category on this site for the full April 2006 edition of the Devonport Column.

Note the article promotes "good citizenship and positive action" in children as young as 11 years old. This is EU citizenship, and Deutsche Bank is a powerhouse behind Common Purpose. Julia Middleton Chief Executive praises German bankers in her book "Beyond Authority", despite the fact that they are happy to talk of "useful idiots". Are parents happy to have big foreign business "teaching school children". Do they know the real agenda?

She is really selling the CP WHAT NEXT course in conjunction with Oxford University Said Business School. CP Variant Magazine The Tainted Word William Clark (10/08/2008)
UK
Article exposing the 'third sector and third way' growing amongst the government, civil service and commercial sector. He exposes an unhealthy expansion and influence of this third sector which is distorting democracy. On page 5 Clark turns the spotlight on Common Purpose. Its start up with influence by the Millennium Bridge Trust, Ditchley Foundation and Royal Institute of International Affairs. Big powerful names supporting a charity which the Chief Executive Julia Middleton claims she started after being given £500,000. The Tainted Word raises many questions on just what CP is, and what its objective are. He states..."CP creates the illusion that it is for ordinary people, but it is not only run by an elite, its projects cater exclusively for an elite: "the rising generation of decision makers", as they say in their (then) web site". CP also has clear links with DEMOS not least via Julia Middleton herself. This charity CP claims it is non aligned, but it swims in a deep pond of extreme left wing socialism with exposed Marxist roots. It favours the European Union. Is the CHANGE CP so desires a change from democracy to dictatorship in a new world order?
